APPOINTMENTS
Appointments are made through a referral to the Prescott Animal Hospital Large Animal Surgery and Medical Referral Centre from your regular veterinarian.
BEFORE ARRIVAL
Check your animal for signs of respiratory disease (nasal discharge, coughing), fever, or any abnormalities, such as inflammation or recent wounds, at the surgery site where the incisions are to be made. If any abnormalities are noted, please contact us to confirm that your appointment can proceed as planned.
UPON ARRIVAL
Parking is available for trucks and trailers immediately behind the building. Please check in at the Large Animal reception desk, prior to unloading your animal. One of our staff will be available to direct you on where to put your horse. A brief examination of your animal will be performed to ensure there are no abnormal signs that may prevent the veterinarian from proceeding with elective surgery.
PAYMENT
Full payment is due, on the day of discharge by cash, credit, debit, visa or mastercard. For all emergency cases, a valid credit card number will be required at time of submission.
